Celebration Day!

This is my first day with my brand new website and I’m celebrating! There’s lots of new stuff to learn and plenty of opportunities to hit the wrong key and make a bit of a mess, a bit like life really but I love to learn and making mistakes is all a part of that.

Speaking of learning new stuff, I have been on another online course for the past four weeks (is it really four weeks since I started that? My, how time flies!). This new course has given me so many ideas for ways to get well and stay well, oh by the way, the new course was Meridian Massage and it’s been a bit of an eye-opener too. Hopefully I can include some of this in the next Retreat, so keep an eye out for dates.

As you can imagine, I’m going to be a novice at this blogging and updating my website for quite a while but I do hope to put some free recordings on here (and even some short video’s too) once i stop hitting the wrong keys - I’m at the dangerous stage right now, one false move and this could all end up in oblivion!

Here at home we have had a busy springtime but for all the wrong reasons! Blocked and damaged septic tank, trees down and branches everywhere with the early gales and the grass so high that you couldn’t even see the cats. It has taken a while to get it all sorted and now we just need some sunshine.

Sadly, our eldest cat Malachy (he was 17) had to be put to sleep at the beginning of May. He became very ill and just couldn’t go on. We all still miss him so much, he was our friend and a member of our family, and his big mate Harvey (big ginger boy) still trails about the garden wailing and calling for him. Malachy’s final resting place is in the Buddha garden where he used to love sitting by the pond and contemplating nature (or more likely whether he could be bothered chasing a mouse), so that’s where he is now and it’s such a comfort to have him there - I talk to him when I do qigong in the garden on fine mornings because all the cats always come to join me and I’m sure he is with us. We have decided to get another kitten, not to replace my dear boy Malachy, that would just never be possible but I hope that a new life will help Harvey and Rose to re-discover their own kitten nature again and stop them feeling so sad. I can’t wait to pick up our new boy next month - new chapter in Life with the Lions at Horn Burn!

I’m going to sign off now, but look forward to posting again soon. Wish me luck in posting this!
